Show & Tell Week 13

Thank you to everyone who has submitted items for Show and Tell this week. Another week of mixed weather but, once again, you haven’t let this stop you. It’s National Sports Week at Home this coming week and it runs from Saturday 20th through to Friday 26th June. Mr Marsh and Mrs Hammond are certainly looking forward to seeing lots of sports based news in the next Show & Tell and if you want to take part in the next Show & Tell, please send photos and/or a sentence or two, to by the end of next Saturday.

Your amazing Duck designs are on the Children’s Challenge page.

Gracie, Emilia, Jessica, Aimee and Spencer have been very busy over the last 3 months.

Bethany wrote the beginning of a story for English. And completed some Maths problems.

Both girls have done an entry for the design a duck competition.

Layla’s done some good work on telling the time and she completed her non fiction book in English about planets and stars.
Had Truffles the rabbit out in the garden when we had some nice weather.

Max and Noah have enjoyed doing Enterprise Week from home – they had the idea of doing a cake sale but delivering them – max (with some help) made an order form and decided on what cakes to offer and prices he also decided on the charity to donate the money to – a local homeless charity. Max delivered the flyers in his bike on Monday and collected them along with the money on Wednesday.

On a Thursday they got the recipes ready and weighed outdoor some of the dry ingredients.

On Friday we baked all the cakes and decorated them – at 2pm max help cut the cakes up, wrapped them and put them in the bags they had decorated for each customer. Max delivered each order on his bike!

We think we have raised over £50!!!

This week Sophia has done variety of things, we went to visit William & Grace for a socially distance garden visit.

Sadly On Sunday we had to take one hamster back, to pets at home as they started to fight and Salty got bit around 4 times which drew blood. So Sophia was quite upset. But Salty has now recovered. We went on a bike ride in Barrow as we passed by Mrs Pollards, we spotted her in the garden so we stopped for a chat. Which was nice! I forgot to take a photo!

Sophia’s been making elderflower cordial. Attached is the recipe if you’d like to try!

On Friday Sophia went all the way to Newbury and back (5:30am start!) with her dad to take some parts for a job he’s doing next week in a very upmarket car show room!

Sophia has done 9k out on Gwenno. and has finally decided she quite enjoys cantering!
