A Message from your Teacher…week 17
I can’t believe that we have been looking at the fantastic things you have been doing at home over the last 17 weeks of Show and Tell. Where has the time gone! There is one thing for sure that I have learnt and that is, that you all have amazing parents who provide you with the most wonderful childhood and opportunities. I would just like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Storey who has put together your photographs and comments over the last 17 weeks to keep us all in touch and make us smile. I know it takes a lot of work and I can’t thank you enough. Lastly, I would like to wish you all a happy summer holiday and can’t wait to see you all back in school in September.
With lots of love
Hallie and Oliver– Wow, what gigantic sunflowers! They are impressive! Ask Grandad to measuring them and see exactly how tall they grow.
Bethany, Layla and Freddie– I love strawberry picking! Did you eat one whilst you were picking them? How lovely to see Dad having some time to enjoy boating with you.
Lucy– Very creative. I think if real hedgehogs had a hotel like that one they would be super happy.
Thank you for sharing your pictures over the last few weeks, I have enjoyed seeing what you have been up to. I hope you all have a wonderful summer and I am really looking forward to seeing you all back in school, in September.

Well, I cannot believe that this is the last show and tell comment after 17 weeks. To all of you, I have loved seeing the photographs and hearing of your adventures as we went from full lockdown (the fun you got up to inside your homes and on your one allowed daily exercise) to now, when things are slowly returning to some kind of normality (the days out you are now having and the sharing of your experiences with family and friends). So, this is it, as I pack my caravan to go away for a few weeks, I will write my final comments on your super photos:
Hallie and Oliver, your sunflowers are so tall! Did Riley plant one? We have loved having Riley and Oliver at school and I hope, Hallie, you enjoyed the peace that brought at home! Have an amazing summer all three of you!
Bethany, Layla and Freddy, your photographs have been fabulous throughout this experience and the work Bethany has sent to me has been superb. Strawberry picking looks wonderful and a day out at Cleethorpes sounds just perfect. Have a brilliant, fun-filled summer!
Lucy, I love your creativity with the potpourri! You have also sent some super photographs during this experience and I hope you have an incredible summer with your family. I am looking forward to welcoming you back as a Year 4!
To you all, have an absolutely amazing summer, enjoying the increasing freedom we are having but do all, continue to stay safe, wash your hands, read your books and enjoy the time before we are all back together again in September for a new school year.
