PTFA

Kirmington School PTFA hold a longstanding responsibility to provide fundraising opportunities within the school community, benefiting the children not only by providing numerous different social events throughout the academic year but they also raise much needed funds to provide the little extras that helps to make Kirmington school the special place it is. Through the years the PTFA have provided the school with equipment such as the nursery mud kitchen, outdoor seating arrangements and exciting experiences such as the WW1 soldier visit and the whole school visit to Williams Den, enjoyed by all.

One of the most successful social events the PTFA organise is the annual summer BBQ, where the children and their families come together to enjoy food and celebrate the success of the annual summer play.

Another favourite event is the Christmas wreath making, which has been enjoyed by parents and local villagers over the last two years. With excellent handmade, one of a kind, natural wreaths being created.

The PTFA also organise various discos throughout the academic year, which provides the children extra opportunity to socialise outside of the school day.

All the PTFA members who provide support for these various events, are fully DBS checked and all provide a different set of skills towards the team.

Without the time, effort, and support from parents, teachers, volunteers, staff, and the local community that surrounds the school, the PTFA would be unable to function and the team are extremely grateful for all the help they currently receive. The PTFA are always on the lookout for new fundraising opportunities and members to boost the teams’ productivity, and hold regular meetings throughout the academic year that all are invited to attend.
