Although the wearing of school uniform is not compulsory, our school Governors are keen to encourage the children to wear it to engender a feeling of belonging and corporate identity. Research has shown that behaviour is often better in those schools which have a school uniform.
Children will be asked why they are not wearing clothing from the recommended list.

- Polo shirts are short sleeved sports type shirts with a placket fastening and a soft collar.
- Neither jeans nor tracksuit trousers are considered suitable for school.
- Skirt lengths should be of around knee length to allow for ease of movement and for sitting on the floor in a ‘ladylike’ fashion.
- School uniform may be ordered at any time via our on-line suppliers’ website - School Trends.
P.E. Kit:
All children need a change of footwear for P.E., cheap and cheerful black, slip-on plimsolls are fine. They also need black or green shorts and a plain yellow tee shirt or polo shirt. During the cooler months, you may also provide your child with tracksuit bottoms and top. These clothes need to be suitable for P.E. and need to allow for freedom of movement. Children will need a bag to store their kit in- please remember cloak room space is very limited so bags should be a sensible size! Children should come to school in their PE Kit on PE days.
PLEASE ENSURE ALL OF YOUR CHILD’S BELONGINGS
ARE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THEIR NAME.
