After School Clubs
We are very proud of the number and variety of free clubs and events that we are able to offer to the children in our school. This is due in no small measure to the continued support we get in the form of Sports Premium funding. Our P.E. Lead works tirelessly to bring new and exciting sports in to school, and to arrange visits to a whole range of sporting events and competitions, to ensure that our children can experience as a wide a variety of sports, as possible.
This page will showcase the clubs, events and competitions our children take part in.
Clubs for Autumn Term 2026
Monday: Multi-sports
This is a new club for all year groups, run by Miss Westerman-Hughes afterschool on a Monday. We look forward to photos showcasing the sports the children take part in, in the coming weeks.
Tuesday: Art Club
Open to children from Reception to year 6, Art Club is run by Mrs. Revitt and takes place on a Tuesday after school. Keep an eye open for pictures from the sessions in the coming weeks.
Wednesday: Duckegg Theatre
This term, we are excited to once again be able to bring Duckegg Theatre into school. The sessions are open to children in years 1 to 6, and are on a Wednesday afternoon.
Thursday: Karate
We have been running Karate Club for over several years now and it is fair to say that these clubs have proved very popular across all the year groups. As well as karate kicks, punches and blocks, the children have also started to learn some self-defence. They are also learning the Japanese names for the various moves and can count up to 10 in Japanese as well. This afterschool club takes place on Thursday.
Each week a star student is chosen and they receive a certificate in the next Family Worship.
Super Star Sport Lunchtime Club
We have been extremely lucky to have secured 5 free sports club sessions from Super Star Sports, which will run over the lunchtime on Tuesdays from 29th September until November 3rd. These sessions are open to all children in Reception to Year 6. Children simply turn up for these sessions if they want to take part - sign up is not required.
