Show & Tell Season 2 Week1
Week 1 of this term and whilst this wasn’t how we had hoped to catch up on all your news, it’s lovely to see what you have been getting up to at home. I know the staff will be delighted to see your pictures and read about what you have done and will look forward to seeing how you are getting on in the weeks to come. Remember if you want to take part in next week’s Show & Tell, you need to email your photo’s and/or written news to firstname.lastname@example.org by the end of next Saturday.
Why not take a look at what the children at St. Barnabas have been up to?
Here are a few pictures of the kids during this first week. They have been pretty enthusiastic about homeschooling and have managed to complete the work set so far (completely different to last lockdown!). We will see how long the enthusiasm lasts though! They’ve also been doing some craft activities and have enjoyed exploring the ice around the farm, cracking iced up puddles and making snow angels in the garden.

Chloe has been learning how to knit
This is some of Layla and Bethany’s work from this week, they enjoyed doing these and spent lots of time working on them. Settled into homeschooling well!! Been on a few walks and a bike ride too, need it to warm up a bit though.
This week we have been on lots of walks, jumping in icy puddles, leaping across ditches and finding treasures.

It’s been a rather bumpy week, Sophia’s Grandad & Grandma moved out of their house, Henry & Sophia had so much fun playing in the garden. Gwenno had to move to temporary accommodation and the announcement of lockdown & homeschool.
School work seems to involve Snoopy at the table, although most the time he curls up and goes to sleep!
We’ve been to see Gwenno and check she’s ok, she now has goats in her life.
The family tree was interesting and we worked out how Sophia & Ethan are related we think 3rd Cousins, shown below. Sophias Great Grandad Frank was 1 of 11. 1 of these 11 Laurence was Ethans Great Grandad. This is just the Maddison side, from the research this week, we have added to the online tree. We have another side for the Quarleri’s.
Sophia enjoyed a 📞 catch up with Mr Marsh on Friday.
Jodie-Mae lost her 1st tooth. We are pleased to confirm the Tooth Fairy must be a key worker, she paid a visit to Jodie-Mae on Friday night ☺️
This week we’ve been busy breaking ice in water tanks for the sheep, being careful on frosty bike rides and making wishes on rainbows when we walked!
