On Tuesday 25th June, Key Stage Two were lucky enough to visit Ewden Water Treatment Works near Sheffield as part of their Water topic. They learnt about the process used to treat water from it filling the reservoirs from the streams and the rainfall before it gets into our taps! They also learnt about how to keep their hands clean and all about children in Ethiopia who have to walk for miles to collect their water. We all found the best part of the day was a tour of the works so that we could see exactly how the water is treated. It was an interesting and enjoyable day.
