Kirmington St Helena’s Church of England Primary School and First Steps Nursery is located in the small village of Kirmington, in North Lincolnshire. We have wonderful children and a fantastic team of staff and governors who all work together to try and make learning fun!
Kirmington St Helena’s Church of England Primary School and First Steps Nursery is federated with St Barnabas Church of England Primary School Barnetby. Both schools are under the St Barnabas and St Helena’s Federation.
Central to Kirmington St Helena’s and St Barnabas Primary School is our Church of England Status and our Christian Foundation. At the heart of that Foundation is the truth that every child is created in the image of God and is loved by him. The Federation takes as its inspiration and cornerstone the life and teaching of Jesus and we actively seek to uphold and encourage Christian Values. At St Helena’s our Christian values are thankfulness, friendship, perseverance, hope, trust, peace, forgiveness and compassion.
We are very proud of our Christian school, which has served the local community on this site since 1883. We have close links with St Helena’s Church which is located across from the school. We visit the church regularly for services and at special times in the Christian calendar.
