It’s always sad to say goodbye to children when they leave our school and this year, as well as our year 6 children we are also saying bon voyage to Bella, Julian and Lucia. Sad though it is for us to see them leave, we are also incredibly excited for them because they are about to embark on a wonderful adventure, that will not only take them away from our school but will also take them to foreign shores, as they are relocating to Malaysia, where dad has secured a fabulous new job.
Miss Somerscales and Spencer Bear, made a surprise visit to see them yesterday, along with Spencer Bear’s three little cousins, Sally, Stuart and Sarah, who will be going with Bella, Julian and Lucia, on their adventure. The children and their little bear companions, have promised to become our foreign correspondents and will send pictures and updates on life in a new country which we will share with you on the website, and they have promised to call in and see us when they pop back to England on a visit.
We would like to wish them a safe journey and every happiness as they start this amazing new chapter of their lives.
But as these three old friends leave us, we will be welcoming four new ones who will be joining us in September.
George and Evie will be joining our Reception Class. George already has an older sister in year 2 but Evie’s older brother, Oscar, is also joining us and will be in our Year 3 class. Our fourth newcomer is Eddie, and he will be in Year 5 in September. We hope you will all enjoy your time at Kirmington St. Helena’s and we look forward to meeting you and getting to know you better.
